Fiddle Camp in Nashville
Each summer Mark O'Connor offers fiddlers of all persuasions a chance to learn from the greatest living practitioners of a variety of fiddling styles. Fiddle Camp has had two sessions in the summer. The June camp is held at Montgomery Bell State Park, about thirty miles west of Nashville near Dickson, Tennessee.. The August camp is held in beautiful San Diego, California.
Buddy and his Nashville Swing Band play for the Wednesday night dance at the June Camp outside Nashville. Sitting in with Buddy is Randy Elmore to his left, and the Fiddle Camp Maestro himself, Mark O'Connor. The dance floor was never empty for almost two hours of fun and great swing music.

When asked by Jim Christian, "How do you like working at Fiddle Camp?", Buddy's response was,
"If I do have any frustrating times, when I come to fiddle camp it's sheer joy. I love fiddle camp and I love Mark O'Connor and I love the people that I meet here. I'm just thankful that I've lasted this long and get to continue with my work.
